Springfield, Massachusetts

The city of Springfield in central Mass has invested considerable interest and early training towards the potential of an active Hub and COR model to serve their community. Planning continues.

Members of our Global Network team provided initial education and policy support to the mobilization phases of a Hub and COR application in the city of Springfield, and several members from the Springfield Police and a number of their local and state level partner agencies have already participated in our e-Learning program.

State of Florida

Under the leadership of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), our Global Network team has provided initial education and policy support to the mobilization phases of a potential Hub and COR application in the State of Florida, and consideration is underway towards the development of a pilot project in the city of Tallahassee.

Sudbury’s Our Shared Commitment

The police and human service partners in Greater Sudbury were among the very first early adopters of the collaborative risk-driven CSWB concepts that were pioneered in Saskatchewan. Global Network founders Norm Taylor and Lisa Taylor assisted in their original site research and guided the early architecture and branding of their Our Shared Commitment model which continues today.

Surrey’s SMART Model

Surrey Mobilization And Resiliency Table (SMART) is the first Risk driven collaborative in British Columbia, launched in November of 2015. SMART is made up of human service professionals from a variety of disciplines including: law enforcement, corrections, housing, health, social services, income assistance, and education. Meeting twice a week, these agencies are working together to mitigate risk before crisis can occur in the lives of individuals and families in Surrey’s City Centre.

Our Global Network Team provided support and guidance in the creation of the initiative, and all participants completed our interactive online e-Learning program. Once completed, members of our team provided on-site support for the launch of SMART and continue to stay connected to the initiative. To date, SMART has intervened in over 75 situations of acute risk and the model continues to grow.

Timmins, ON

Located in Ontario’s North East, Timmins has prudently been pursuing their situation table and community safety and well-being model since 2015. The Timmins collaborative group has worked with our firm and is preparing to train and launch their table in the fall of 2016.
