On October 8th, the Global Network's Vice President of Research and Evaluation presented findings of his study of the Samson Cree Nation Hub to Public Safety Canada. Over the past 6 months, Dr. Chad Nilson was contracted by Public Safety Canada to conduct an evaluative study of Samson Cree Nation's application of the Hub model in Alberta. Findings of the report identified that the Hub model is conducive to the cultural and human service delivery needs of First Nation communities. The procurement of this research marks an important first-step for Public Safety Canada's entry into the world of collaborative risk-driven intervention. The resulting report is a celebration of the hard work and commitment to collaboration among human service professionals and community leaders in Samson Cree Nation.
